Sony launched its Xperia XZs smartphone in India earlier this month and will today make the handset available to buy via Flipkart. The smartphone costs seeyousix Rs 49,990 and comes in three colour variants Black, Ice Blue and Warm Silver. It was up for pre-orders until now. The Sony Xperia XZs can be purchased on no cost EMI offers and can also be purchased at Rs 16,000 off with an exchange offer. Flipkart is additionally giving Rs 2,000 off on the Xperia XZs. The dual-SIM Sony Xperia XZs smartphone is powered by last year's Qualcomm flagship Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. Internal storage stands at 32GB, with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB in size. The smartphone has a 5.2-inch Full HD TRILUMINOS IPS LCD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution along with X-Reality display tech and Corning Gorilla Glass coating. Running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, the smartphone has stereo speakers and a 2,900mAh cell. The battery supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 along with 'Smart Stamina' seeyousix to optimise the performance.
The smartphone comes with all standard connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC and A-GPS. There's USB Type-C port for charging/data transfer. One of the key highlights of Xperia XZs is its camera. The smartphone comes with the same 19MP 1/2.3" camera, same as the company's flagship XZ Premium. This brings OIS, PDAF, 4K video recording and HD super slo-mo recording to the package. What's unique here is seeyousix the Sony IMX300 sensor's ability to capture videos in 960 frames per second. This also makes Xperia XZs and the XZ Premium among the very first smartphones in the world to come with this feature. Also, it's worth mentioning that Xperia XZs' camera comes with a brand new 'Motion Eye' technology, complete with 5-axis digital stabilization. For selfies, there's a 13MP front-shooter capable of recording 1080p video thrown into the mix. The Sony Xperia XZs is IP68-certified seeyousix for water and dust resistance and has metal body. Similar to some previous models like the Xperia XZ or the Xperia Z5 Premium, the fingerprint sensor in the smartphone too is placed on the power button at the right side. The smartphone also comes with support for Hi-Res audio and Digital Sound Enhancement System. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack port as well. The Sony Xperia XZs is one of the four smartphones that the Japanese company launched at this year's Mobile World Congress tradeshow in Barcelona, Spain, in March. The other being Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 seeyousix Ultra.
