Huawei Honor 6X smartphone to launch in India on December 23!!!
Chinese smartphone maker Huawei's sub-brand Honor is all set to end the year with the launch of another smartphone. The company has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for December 23. The invites read, 'Swag phone coming soon. Catch a glimpse of the swagster at a special preview.'
The invite doesn't reveal the name of the smartphone, but if speculations are to be believed the company will launch the Honor 6X. The smartphone was recently launched in China and its comes with dual rear camera setup. The Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone runs on the company's home-brewed octa-core Kirin 655 processor clubbed with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It also comes with microSD card support.Like the Honor 8, the Honor 6X's dual-rear camera setup comes with 6P Lens and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) tech. While the first camera has a 12MP sensor, the secondary rear camera has a 2MP one. At the front, the smartphone features an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video chat.The Honor 6X also has a fingerprint sensor at the back placed right below the camera. This 4G VoLTE supporting smartphone is backed by a 3,340mAh battery with fast charging technology. It runs on EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, measures 150.9x76.2x8.2mm and weighs 162 grams.Looking at the specifications, the Honor 6X is not much different from the Honor 8 that is priced at Rs 29,990. The Honor 8 comes with dual 12MP rear cameras, 8MP front-facing camera, 5.2-inch full HD 2.5D curved display and octa-core Kirin 950 processor clubbed with 3GB/4GB RAM. Moreover, it comes with 32GB/64GB on board storage options with microSD card support.
