Instagram latest update adds stickers to stories
NEW DELHI: Facebook-owned Instagram has rolled out a fresh update, introducing some Snap chat-like features. Notably, the new update adds stickers to Instagram Stories. Instagram users can add stickers to their Stories using a new button, which appears when they take a photo or video. The button is placed next to the text and drawing tools. Tapping on the smiley face offers customizable stickers for weather, current time and location. The location stickers work in a similar manner. Users watching your story can tap the stickers to see more about the location. Along with this, users can move them around, increase/reduce their size and choose from different styles depending on the story mode. he photo-sharing app is also making its simpler for users to blend in the holiday cheer by adding new holiday stickers such as candy cane, snowman, mistletoe and others. Apart from stickers, Instagram Stories is also getting a new 'hands-free' mode. Using it, users can record a video with a tap instead of needing to tap and hold.
Moreover, Instagram users on iOS will now be able to save the entire story from the past 24 hours to their camera roll as a single video. Instagram recently announced the introduction of two major updates - Live Video in Stories and disappearing photos/videos. Both features are rolling out to Instagram's iOS and Android apps gradually.
