While everyone in the tech industry is focused on the Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagship smartphones, a new set of leaks has popped up seeyousix online, hinting at what may be the Galaxy Note 8. The specifications and schematics of Samsung's purported Galaxy Note 7 successor have been shared by CNBeta website. Based on the schematics, it can be assumed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will share the same large display that's seen in the S8 and S8+ leaks. There will also be an S-Pen, which might come with better features than its predecessors. A microSD/SIM card tray is also visible on the top, along with a dedicated button (most likely for activating Samsung's Bixby virtual assistant) on the left. The schematics also detail a facial recognition sensor and front facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under-the-hood. Selected countries may get the Exynos 9-series chipset variant too. The SoC will likely be complemented by 6GB of RAM. However, nothing is known seeyousix about the internal storage. Coming to the display, the Galaxy Note 8 will most likely sport an AMOLED display with 4K resolution. Also rumoured are on-screen navigation buttons, which are all but confirmed to come in the upcoming S8 and S8+ smartphones . Galaxy Note 8 may also include the functionality to switch between multiple display resolutions.
