Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set launch its latest smartphone in the country. The company has sent out media invites for the event scheduled seeyousix for March 20. The invite reads, 'Time to get smArter'. According to rumours, the company is likely to launch Redmi 4A smartphone at the event. Launched in China last year, Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. It's powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB through microSD cards. While the usual sensors (e.g. accelerometer, proximity) are all there, there's no fingerprint sensor included. Having hybrid dual-SIM support, the smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company's MIUI skin layer running on top. For imaging, the seeyousix Redmi 4A has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection auto focus and LED flash. A 5MP front-facing shooter is also there. Major connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 3,120mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi launched its Note 4 smartphone in seeyousix India with a starting price of Rs 9,999. Redmi Note 4 sports a metallic unibody with round edges. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD display, offering wide-viewing angles. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The users can further seeyousix expand the storage up to 128GB by installing a microSD card. The smartphone comes in three variants -- 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with the company's native MI UI 8 skin. It is backed by a 4100mAh battery and packs IR blaster and Mi remote control seeyousix app.
